Blackbeard's Creations

Scabbards, cuz every pirate needs a way to carry his blade.

There are no prices on any of these scabbards because I custom design & make each one to order. I have three basic designs. The first one, I call a sandwich design. This has a hand stitched seem all the way around. If you want a design tooled in the leather, and or Conchos attached, this is the one that you will want. Recommended for almost all blades.

The second one is a unique design for Scimitars, It is a sandwich style with a twist. The stitching goes all the way down one side and part way up the other side then stops. Then straps with decorative snap heads are placed to hold the blade in the scabbard.

The third is a single seem. In order to make a single seam scabbard I will have to have the blade. The leather is wrapped around the blade and stitched up the back of the blade in single seem scabbard.

I also use a single seem to make a scabbard that has a belt loop as part of the design. It is a common design for a hunting knife.

Now in order for me to make your custom scabbard, I need to have the blade the scabbard is being made for to ensure a proper fit. (This gives the best results) If you are shipping the blade to me, I will contact you once I receive it in good condition.

If you can not send me the blade, there is an alterative. I need to have a tracing of the blade. When you trace the blade make sure that it total flat on the paper (if it is not totally flat the blade will not fit correctly). Next, on the same tracing I need to know the thickness of the blade. (Too thin and the scabbard will be too tight, too thick and it will be like one of those “Cheep Scabbards” lots of slop).

Please contact me so we can discuss your scabbard.
